CORNHILL COPSE - England, 2023

Captured recently locally to me during wintery conditions, and a location that I had scouted for such an occasion. It was the first location that I visited, although on the first day there was only a light scattering of snow and the trees were too prominent in the scene and needed some snow coverage.

Only a few days later, coupled with the snow we had an early morning fog which produced a hoar frost, the whole landscape was like a winter wonderland and a stunning spectacle. Therefore, I re-visited the location on a couple of occasions to get the right light to realise what I had pre-visualised as the final result.
