The subject in this piece is a shrine in Japan called, “Meoto Iwa”. The locations is affectionately referred to as, “The Wedded Rocks” - because the connecting rope celebrates the union of marriage.

The left rock stands at 9m, the right stands at 3m and the connecting rope is 35m in length which needs to be replaced regularly because it is exposed to the elements and takes approximately 20 men to do so.

Printed on Hahnemuhle PhotoRag - a white 100% cotton paper which guarantees archival standards.

The dimensions specified below under, “size” refers to the image size, the final print includes a white border.
